Charlevoix County Michigan is a county with 26,000 residents and a rich and interesting history.
Charlevoix County have been using Mango for their online GIS needs since May 2016. The county has produced five public facing maps and two private password protected maps that are used for internal processes.
The maps cover the common areas of local government mapping; land parcels, tax roll and school districts.

We got in contact with Charlevoix County to ask some questions about how the County came to choose Mango, and what the biggest benefits of that decision have been.
Mango: What prompted you to seek Mango’s web mapping platform?
Charlevoix County: The county was launching a new website and needed a new online mapping application to go with it.
M: Why did you specifically select Mango for this project?
CC: Mango was easy to use and cost of the product product was attractive to us.
M: How exactly did Mango contribute to the outcome you wanted?
CC: It provided an easy to use platform for creating a user friendly map that could easily be embedded into the county’s new website.
