St Joseph County Remonumentation Program


The St Joseph County Remonumentation Program was established to replace, restore, and maintain all of the 2,796 public land survey monuments in the county. These monuments are used by Land Surveyors to determine property line boundaries, road alignments, and subdivision layouts, etc. The County GIS Department also makes extensive use of this data to help accurately map parcel boundaries.
